Dinner on the Farm

Every spring, Grow Dat collaborates with local New Orleans chefs and service industry professionals to host our farm dinner fundraiser. Set against the backdrop of the bayou and underneath the Big Oak tree, our annual farm dinner is an opportunity to showcase our produce and unite our supporters for an unforgettable evening in service of youth leadership and sustainable agriculture.

From a cocktail hour, to youth-led farm tours, to a four-course meal curated by local chefs, this event invites guests to connect to our mission, the soil beneath our feet, the delicious food on our plates, and the joyful company at our table. Proceeds from our farm dinner support Grow Dat young leaders as we collectively grow 50,000 pounds of food for our New Orleans community this year.

Farm Dinners FAQ

How does seating work?
Seating will be on a first-come basis. Groups of six will have reserved seating to ensure everyone can sit together.

What if it rains?
This event will be rain or shine. In the event of rain, we will shorten the tour and provide a tent for dining. In extreme weather conditions, the farm dinner may need to be rescheduled.

What if I have a dietary restriction?
The food at our farm dinners contain soy, nuts, dairy, eggs, wheat, shellfish, pork, and other meats. If you or someone in your party have a dietary restriction, please indicate it with your ticket purchase in the designated section so that we can try to accommodate your restriction. We cannot always guarantee accommodation, but we will do our best!

Are tickets refundable?
Tickets are not refundable, but they are transferable. If you gift them or sell them to another party, please update the reservation details.

What should I wear?
We want you to be comfortable! Dress appropriately to navigate our farm, which includes rocky, grassy, and wooden pavements that occasionally get wet and/or slippery after rain. Be aware that the mosquitos may be as hungry as you are before you take your seat for dinner. We’ll provide DEET-free mosquito spray.

Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?
We love kids, but this event is designed for adults 21+.

Please contact Lily Mejia if you have any questions.
