Vote for Grow Dat’s Farm Advisor, Macon Fry
Click the photo and vote for Macon!
Grow Dat’s fabulous Farm Advisor, ‘Garden Guy’ Macon Fry is a finalist in Global Green’s Citizen Entrepreneur contest!
Voting is easy and takes less than a minute. Click here and enter your name, email address, zip code, and then click on the oval under the photo of Macon and Teedy working in the arugula field. Macon is the last nominee on the list (not that has any bearing on his chances, of course!)
Macon was nominated by multiple organizations and individuals in New Orleans, and was selected by Global Green as one of 13 finalists out of over 100 nominations. Global Green and SeventhGeneration together will award $2,000 towards the winner’s green projects. Macon plans to use the award to install a demonstration vermiculture (worm) composting system in order to train other urban farmers in the city interested in alternative and space-saving compost methods.
Voting is open until the last week of May. Spread the word – tell your friends.
Good luck, Macon!
